Dr. Moosvi went to undergrad and medical school at University of Maryland School of medicine. Followed by an internal medicine residency at University of California in Irvine, CA. He completed his general gastroenterology fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Finally, he finished his advanced endoscopy fellowship at New York University under the mentorship of world-renowned endoscopists including Dr. Greg Haber.

His professional philosophy is rooted in a patient-centered approach, using a combination of empathy and evidence-based medicine, drawing from my extensive experience and training to deliver optimal care with personalized treatment plans.

His clinical areas are pancreatic and biliary diseases including pancreatitis, cholangitis, and choledocholithiasis and advanced tissue resection of gastrointestinal tumors/polyps GERD, colon cancer screening, IBS, dysphagia, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease.

Some conditions he treats are pancreatitis, cholangitis, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, Barrett’s esophagus, and colon polyps. Procedures he performs are Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic ultrasound including fine needle biopsy and pancreatic cyst drainage, endoscopic mucosal resection and full thickness resection of complex gastrointestinal polyps and tumors, enteral stenting, endoscopic suturing, radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus, colonoscopy, and esophagogastroduodenoscopy.

Dr. Moosvi is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He sees patients in the West Orange office and his hospital affiliations include Cooperman Barnabas and Morristown Medical Centers.

In his free time, he enjoys international travel, working out, hiking, exploring new restaurants and spending time with family.
