Dr. Steinway earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine, completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Johns Hopkins, and advanced training in Therapeutic and Bariatric Endoscopy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He later served as Associate Director of Interventional Endoscopy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, Dr. Steinway specializes in advanced therapeutic and bariatric endoscopy, pancreatic and biliary diseases, colon cancer screening, reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and other digestive disorders. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, lectures nationally and internationally, and serves on the ASGE Advanced Endoscopy Education Committee.
Dr. Steinway sees patients in the Morristown office and is affiliated with Morristown Medical Center and Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. He is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care and using the least invasive treatment options whenever possible. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as tennis, cycling, and running. Dr. Steinway sees patients out of our Morristown office.
