Dr. Namn graduated from The College of New Jersey through the 7-year combined medical program and earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.  He then completed his internal medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical Center-New York Presbyterian Hospital. He subsequently received his gastroenterology fellowship training at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Namn completed an additional fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at New York University Langone Medical Center where he received extensive training in advanced therapeutic procedures under the tutelage of world-renowned physicians.

Dr. Namn is board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Internal Medicine. His clinical practice includes general gastroenterology - colon cancer screening, GERD, dysphagia, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver diseases.

His area of special expertise is in the management of pancreatic and biliary diseases and performing advanced procedures including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of Barrett’s esophagus, endoscopic mucosal resection of complex gastrointestinal polyps and tumors, luminal stenting, pancreatic cyst drainage, endoscopic suturing, and full thickness tumor resections.  He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and has authored several textbooks on a variety of topics in gastroenterology and the management of pancreas and biliary disease.

He is an active medical staff member of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center.
