Lawrence S. Rosenthal, M.D.
Dr. Rosenthal graduated from Vassar College with honors and received his medical degree from the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center where he received the Mishkin Award, given to the outstanding trainee at the medical center. He pursued his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at New York Medical College. He completed an additional fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at the Yale New Haven Hospital. While there, he also served as a faculty member of the Yale University School of Medicine. His responsibilities included teaching gastroenterology trainees and medical students.
Dr. Rosenthal is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and Hepatology. In addition to general gastroenterology, he has special interest in gastrointestinal endoscopy, including EUS and ERCP, gastrointestinal cancer screening diagnosis, and evaluation, as well as pancreatic and biliary diseases. He has published a number of papers and abstracts on a variety of topics in gastroenterology and has presented his research at several national meetings.
Dr. Rosenthal also enjoys sports, travel, and spending time with his family.
