John D. Morton, MD
After receiving an undergraduate degree from the State University of NY at Binghamton, Dr. Morton obtained his MD from the State University of NY Health Science Center at Syracuse. He completed both his residency in Internal Medicine and a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Morton’s areas of special interest include inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal endoscopy, including wireless capsule endoscopy, Bravo probe for pH monitoring, BARRX radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus and liver/biliary diseases. He is a frequent presenter on a wide range of topics including colon cancer prevention, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Morton maintains a practice at Affiliates in Gastroenterology in Morristown and is an attending physician at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dr. Morton sees patients at the Morristown office.
