Matthew P. Askin, MD
Dr. Matthew Askin is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He graduated from Brandeis University and The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Askin completed his internal medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Campus, and his gastroenterology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
His areas of special interest include capsule endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal endoscopy. Dr. Askin sees patients at Affiliates in Gastroenterology in West Orange and St. Barnabas Medical Center, where he is Chief of Gastroenterology.
In his spare time, Dr. Askin enjoys playing basketball and guitar.
